Why doesn't anyone answer questions here? When I first purchased this application I used it religiously. The more projects I add the less I use it. I have made a suggestion in this Forum (no answer). I have asked questions (got 1 answer). That was before I purchased the software.
The only application I track is AutoCAD (.dwg). Why then do I have to wade through .pdf, .dbf, .ask, all image file formats, and many others that I have no idea what the extensions are, when I go to edit my projects?
What good is the Re-arrange Icons button in the sort documents dialog? It does nothing.
In the apply rules dialog, give me a select all option.

Hi,
I do try to reply to posts with questions. I did read your suggestions about the two plugins and they are taken into consideration. As soon as there are any changes to them, I will try to implement your suggestions. I should have posted some confirmation though, so I'm sorry you felt "neglected".
The thing is that the plug-ins are more of bonus features for the application rather than the basic functionality, so there is less emphasis on them. Having said that, I realize that the features provided by the plug-ins are really useful and increase the value of the whole product, therefore they are still supported as well as the product itself.
I will see how soon I can implement your suggestions. Thanks for your support and sorry for making you feel frustrated.

I'm not quite sure what you mean here. What extensions you are referring to? VPT doesn't care about extensions, actually. It tracks different applications, but the document file extension doesn't really matter.

It does work. When you resize the window, project icons remain in place. Pressing the re-arrange incons button will make realign them so they accomodate the new window size.
